“Summer’s end, around the bend, just flying” …. John Prine

We have John’s “Summer’s End” song back on our setlists.

A busy summer, camping out at 5 different New England music festivals and playing into the wee hours of the morning. We did get on stage with some friends filling out a band for the Crooked River Gathering. A wonderful Labor Day Weekend festival in Hiram, ME. Bluegrass & old-timey music, farm & artisan market, homestead & skill-sharing workshops. The Crooked River Stage is amazing, with actual tree trunks in the construction.

In other news, we will finally be recording some new songs!! Some originals and some covers. As usual, it will span a few genres of music. We’ll record with our friend and amazing musician Mike Harmon who has a studio in Pennacook, NH. We start September 17 and will be including a few guest artists. Won’t quite set a finish date, but we will be releasing most of them as singles. So something should be available later this fall.
